The Harris Family
Elijah is a husband of an amazing wife and a father of 2 beautiful daughters. He was born and raised in the small town of Bangor, Michigan. Now he is finding himself embracing the coastal breeze and southern charm of Eastern North Carolina. Elijah embodies the spirit of an American, enriched by his experiences as both a firefighter and a United States Marine Corps veteran.
Music was fused in the roots of The Harris Family. Growing up, music was a constant companion for Elijah. Surrounded by the sounds of rural Michigan, he was drawn to the storytelling power of country living and the music that came with it. With a natural knack for singing and songwriting, Elijah found himself dreaming of becoming a musician.
But life had more in store for this talented artist. In 2015, Elijah joined the fire department and started his career as a Firefighter. A few years later, after graduating high school and marrying the love of his life, Elijah decided to answer the call to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Throughout his time in the military, he exemplified bravery, honor, and resilience, earning the respect of his fellow Marines and the gratitude of his nation.
In his music, Elijah weaves together the threads of his past, present and his experiences, crafting songs that are as authentic and heartfelt as the man himself. Whether he’s singing about the trials of love, the joys of small-town living, or the sacrifices of those who serve, his music speaks to the universal truths that bind us all together.
After serving his time in the military, Elijah’s family decided to stay in Eastern North Carolina, where the Marine Corps brought them. Here, amidst the swaying palms and salt-kissed air, he found inspiration in the rich tapestry of southern culture and the vibrant music scene that thrives in the region. With the same bravery and dedication that defined his military service, Elijah decided to continue to rush into burning buildings and face down danger with a steadfast resolve as a Firefighter.
July of 2024 we added a sweet new addition to our family.
This is their most beloved dog, Cooper!
